Group Property

CIÉ Group Property manages the Group’s property nationwide. This includes the letting of property which is presently not required for operational use.

Property can range from railway arches to shop units at bus and rail stations. With some exceptions, these are let by way of licence agreements.

In recent years, there has been major commercial developments at some of our bigger rail and bus stations. These include Heuston station, Dun Laoghaire station, Rosslare Harbour, Limerick, Kilkenny and Killarney rail stations. Other developments are at Clontarf and Barrow Street. Further major developments are planned for North Wall, Connolly Station, Tara street, Barrow Street as well as Cork bus and rail stations.

These developments enhance the facilities available for our passengers. The revenue obtained from these lettings is ploughed back into the development of our transport services.

Details of premises to let are advertised in the National Press and local papers as appropriate. Inquiries regarding lettings should be made in writing to the Group Property Manager, C I É Group Property, Oriel Street, Dublin 1.
