CIÉ Group Sustainability Strategy 2020
CIÉ Group’s sustainability strategy has a strong focus on meeting Ireland’s national climate targets, transitioning to a low carbon and zero emissions fleet, reducing consumption of fossil fuels, and improving energy efficiency across operations.
Our sustainability strategy represents a coordinated plan of action across the Group and aims to align operations with the targets outlined in the national Climate Action Plan and the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.
Our Group Sustainability Strategy was first published in 2020, and we have completed reviews of the strategy in 2021 and 2022.
